Pursuant to Title 35-A M.R.S.A. §6104
RATES FOR WATER TO METERED CUSTOMERS
All water bills to metered customers will contain a charge of $4.42 for a minimum allowance of 300 cu. ft. of water per billing period. Water usage in excess of this 300 cu. ft. allowance will be billed at a rate of $1.474 per 100 cu. ft.

PUBLIC FIRE PROTECTION CHARGES
For the 631 Standard Fire Hydrants owned by the District and connected to its system, there shall be paid to the District by the municipalities served an annual Fire Protection Charge as follows:

In cases where fire protection systems are supplied with water through metered connections, the quantity of water used for extinguishments of fires will be estimated and deducted from the quantity registered by the meter before billing, upon written request within 30 days.
